7th gen home baby party

Did you know 7th gen gives free boxes for 'healthy home baby partys'? Basically samples and coupons to share with about 10 friends  plus some swag. My box came with a full sized dish soap, a water bottle, pack of size 3 diapers and then 10 bags with coupons/info and samples for each bag. Laundry soap, baby wipes, wild flower seeds, and plum oatmeal packets.
It was really fun. For one , who doesn't love free samples? And although I didn't do a traditional party as I couldn't get my friends all in one place at one time it was fun to act as the free sample fairy as I dropped off bags on people's porches!
It also came with a fun bingo game but I used the cards as a 'did you know' insert into each bag instead. Pictures!

Free and clean

so I joined the Generation Good community which is 7th generations site where you do stuff, get points, sometimes get free samples or coupons. I'm online already so why not get free stuff? They sent me a coupon for a free bottle of their laundry detergent. Normally I make my own. It's cheap and  I don't like using liquid as it tends to freeze so I dig powdered laundry soap.
But it's summer so no worry of freezing and of course, free. I don't think I'd ever used 7th gens laundry soap before, I got the lemon scented one. It works very well. It is lightly scented but got my clothing very clean. Even some of the yuckyer stuff like cloth diapers and my husbands work pants.
If I had to of bought it it still wouldn't be bad for the price. At the local Fred Meyers it was about 6 bucks a bottle, 3ish when on sale.
